Open systems are a lot of fun.

December 6th:
Is there something I have that is more important to me than my spirituality?
If so, I need to take a look.

December 7th:
We have something to learn about "frugal comfort"
and devoting our "leisure to the things of spirit."

December 8th:
Gratitude is not static. It is an ever-flowing river.

December 9th:
I am responsible for my life --- not ot blame --- responsible.
Only I can choose to live it.

December 10th:
It is not only WHAT the Elders say, it is also the way they say it
and what they do with what they say that gives such wisdom.

The right knowledge comes from inside.

I can't make AROHA {unconditional love that is derived
from the presence and breath of the Creator}
happen.

I can be open to it and look for the blocks in me that prevent my giving and receiving it.

December 22nd:
My "higher spiritual consciousness"is present in my oneness with nature.
I have but to wait with it.

I am grateful for whatever Native people have to share with me.

I can achieve nothing greater than to live my life in tune with the Creator
and to leave a better place for those who follow.

December 26th:
Intimacy, real intimacy, is always out of control.

December 27th:
Community is not something we can "make" happen.
Community emerges as we participate in life with those around us.

December 28th:
Hearing stories grounds us --- the more stories, the better;
the greater the diversity, the better.

December 29th:
Listen, listen, listen. We have much to learn.

December 30th:
All life is a celebration with the Creator.

December 31st:
I am so blessed by this wisdom.
I offer what I have learned to those who are ready to hear.
