October 1st:
When I hide behind a system or let others do it, I am contributing to inequality.
October 2nd:
In the absence of the sacred -- everything is for sale and life has no value.
October 3rd:
If I am one with all Creation, I participate in sharing.
October 4th:
Women are not only responsible for bringing future generations into the world,
they are responsible for joining with others
who want to make certain that we have a future.
October 5th:
Feelings just are. To express them is a skill and a gift.
October 6th:
Not following through on an agreement or a commitment is much more costly --
to our souls -- than doing it, even if we don’t like it.
October 7th:
When I speak the truth as best I can, I am adding to the healing energy of the planet.
October 8th:
I have a lot to learn from looking at my victim/perpetrator training and from refusing to participate in this way of thinking.
October 9th:
If Native people are “trained to bring dreams up into reality,” we can open ourselves to learn from them.

There’s lots of information in books.
There’s lots of wisdom in people. Both are necessary.

Perhaps, if I really try, I will not contribute to the total mass
of unfairness in the world.

When I know where I belong, I know myself.

Looking after my health today gives me a better hope for tomorrow.

Where differences are respected, there is no need to batter.

When I remember that trees are my friends who give me fresh oxygen to breathe, shade, shelter, and protection, I am reminded to be respectful.

When I take time with my life, I have more opportunity to live it.

No family can heal without community.

A culture (or a person) that cannot stand the truth cannot stand itself.

When we respect our levels of truth, the truth heals on many levels.

Amends to others are others are very important. Amends to ourselves are essential!

Unconditional Love is not possible unless we truly know in our heart of hearts that we are all interconnected -- that we are one.
October 22nd:
When I accept what the spirit is doing, I can better deal with my reality.
October 23rd:
When I am one with the Creator, the jobs I do are good jobs full of mana.
October 24th:
Silence before talking can save a lot of time and energy.
October 25th:
I am the one who imposes limits -- not the world around me.
October 26th:
Only when we are one with all of nature will fear change to serenity.
October 27th:
To know and love the earth is to have roots and be a part of the cycle of life.
October 28th:
Humility is a gift of prayer, ceremony, and willingness to serve.
We can’t make it happen.
October 29th:
I am more than a machine.
October 30th:
Can it be that what is best for the community, for the whole,
is indeed what is best for me?
October 31st:
My overall form and beauty transcend my flaws.
My task is to accept life on life’s terms and just live by it.
